Home to five suites, each are set within the exclusive 44,000-acre Suyian Conservancy and offer guests a stay full of adventure. Every day is designed to look different than the next, where guests can participate in ultra-personalized safari experiences, camel rides, horseback-riding safaris, catch-and-release fishing, helicopter flights and cattle ranching. For those seeking a more relaxing stay, kick back by the pool or take advantage of in-suite wellness treatments.

“It’s about creating a home in the wild where far-reaching views invite people to slow down and spend time together,” said Jane Braack, managing director, East Africa Lodges, andBeyond .

Safari participants can expect two private guides and two six-seater 4×4 safari vehicles to guide them through their adventures. Many endangered animals live in Suyian Conservancy, as it is well-known for vast biodiversity. Explorers can expect to see animals like Grevy’s zebra, Reticulated giraffe, African wild dog and the occasional sighting of a black leopard.

Suryian Homestead can accommodate up to 11 guests in five suites and rates start at $10,200 per night.

Low Water Levels Across Europe’s Rivers Threaten Summer Cruise Season

This summer season, Europe has suffered prolonged dry and hot conditions, resulting in many of the continent’s rivers having historically low water levels. As a result, many cruise lines operating river cruise vessels have been forced to adapt. And one cruise ship, Viking Ullur, ran aground July 28 along the Danube because of low water levels.

Why Japan Is Best Explored by Sea with Princess

Japan is a destination that rewards repeat visits because no two regions — or seasons —  feel quite the same. One moment, you’re wandering through centuries-old geisha districts in Kanazawa. The next, you’re watching neon reflections dance across Tokyo streets long after midnight.

Global Traveler Celebrates the Winners of the Wines on the Wing Airline Wine Competition

Two things truly unify New York City. One is its great restaurant and bar culture driven by some of the top culinary and service in the world. The other, without question, is the New York Knicks. It is impossible to describe the buzz in the city when the Knicks are hot (ask any New Yorker about Linsanity, which swept our region in 2012 when unknown Jeremy Lin, just two years out of Harvard, led the Knicks on a 7–0 run in February and sparked an unexpected trip to the playoffs). Every other major sport in New York nurtures a deep chasm between warring fan bases, always exacerbated when the two local teams play each other; on a warm weekend in mid-May, the Yankees traveled to Queens to meet the Mets for the first of two series for interborough bragging rights. (The Mets will go to Yankee Stadium for the second series beginning Sept. 11.)
