Genting Cruise Line is just one of the many travel companies implementing ways for travelers to change plans easily to provide peace of mind.

Cruise As You Wish provides new booking options for travelers who want to look for a trip with Dream Cruises and Star Cruises.

The new policy is similar to the one airlines have rolled out in recent days, where passengers are able to cancel sailings and receive 100 per cent of that credit for use toward a future sail. The cruise line offers the program for sailings intended to sail on or prior to July 31 and lets passengers rebook for sailings through Dec. 31, 2020.

“On behalf of Dream Cruises and Star Cruises under Genting Cruise Lines, we thank our guests for their continued support and we understand the concerns of traveling and taking a vacation in light of the COVID-19 global pandemic. We hope with introduction of the Cruise As You Wish assurance, it will help minimise booking concerns among our guests and at the same time provide them with the much needed flexibility and cruise option,” said Michael Goh, president, Dream Cruises, and head of international sales, Genting Cruise Lines.

Since the beginning of the outbreak, the health of employees and passengers has been the line’s top priority. To this point, there have been no reported instances of passengers on Genting ships being infected with COVID-19. The line points to its stringent health screening processes and sanitation efforts throughout its entire fleet.

Review: Hotel Pennsylvania, New York City

I was staying in New York City with my daughter. We arrived at Penn Station, right across the street from Hotel Pennsylvania, at 9:30 a.m. — way too early to check in. But we had some luggage we didn’t want to carry around with us, so we stopped at the hotel to leave it.

The Caribbean Rises with Resiliency in the Wake of Hurricanes and the Pandemic

The Atlantic hurricane season of 2017 inflicted unprecedented devastation across wide swaths of the Caribbean. Responsible for 3,364 deaths and resulting in a damage total of nearly $295 billion across the region, the storms included three Category 5 hurricanes (Harvey, Irma and Maria) responsible for the majority of the destruction. Particularly hard hit were Puerto Rico, the U.S. and British Virgin Islands, and the northern Leeward Islands including Dominica and Sint Maarten/Saint Martin.

Get Out for Winter Fun at North America’s Family-Friendly Ski Destinations

Winter breezes in, temperatures drop, and humans retreat indoors to Netflix-and-hibernate until spring. But 2020 has left us scrambling for any excuse to get out of the house and into a safe, socially distanced environment. Luckily, North America is littered with ski resorts that are no longer just for skiing. Nationwide, winter-wonderland theme parks invite families to not only explore the magic of a snow-covered mountain but also retreat inside for hot cocoa, board games or a run- of-the-mill wintertime visit to an indoor waterpark.
