Bringing back the City by the Bay’s bad old days, Crooks Tour of San Francisco is offering day and night tours of the Barbary Coast and Chinatown, and a Crooks Tour Pub Crawl. Led by local professional actors, tours come with lunch, dinner or drinks and a fun “I Left My Crime in San Francisco” presentation. During the 90-minute evening excursions, participants get the inside scoop on the city’s toughest criminals and their most nefarious legacies to San Francisco’s history.

Perfect as a conference diversion or team-building event, the tours include visits to back alleys and historic sites where gambling, Chinese Tong wars, saloons, brothels and opium dens once flourished. The sensory-loaded experience includes authentic images and videos projected onto alley walls and the streets of the Barbary Coast. Chinatown evening tours begin at Red’s Place on Jackson Street, on the first and third Friday of each month. Barbary Coast evening tours meet at Café Prague on Merchant Street each second and fourth Friday of the month.
