This past Sunday my friend De’ja hosted a pool party at her house and invited a few people we used to work with. She set up a volleyball net and asked me to bring my beer pong pool float table.

We spent most of our time in or by the pool, catching up and playing different games. We played a few games of pong; Dibble, which is a game where someone places a small white object on the bottom of the pool and, when you find it when it floats to the top, you yell “Dibble!”, jump in and grab it; and the movie game.

She made wings, deviled eggs and mac-and-cheese, along with people bringing other foods. She asked each of us to bring different drinks and desserts, as well.

The weather was beautiful, making it the perfect day to hang by the pool with friends.
