Earlier this month I headed down to Myrtle Beach for my friend Marissa’s bachelorette weekend. After a quick flight, we landed in Myrtle Beach and headed to our hotel. Our room wasn’t quite ready yet, but we were able to change into our bathing suits and store our luggage so we could enjoy the pool and beach.

Once we had access to the room, two of the girls went up to decorate our room while the rest of us distracted Marissa at the pool. We were getting a little antsy waiting, so we decided to grab a drink and head out to the beach to feel the water. After a little bit, we headed up to the room to see that it was decorated for our first theme night, Dancing with the Bride. The room was decorated with disco balls, shiny balloons and more – the maid of honor did an amazing job.

That night we decided to head out to Broadway at the Beach to check out the strip and have dinner at Señor Frogs. We had a good dinner and were tempted to stay out as the night crowd was starting to fill in, but we were so tired from our early travels we decided to call it an early night and just hang out back in our room.

The next day we realized we should get some necessities such as water snacks, drinks, etc., so a couple of us took an Uber to a store to stock up while the other group headed down to the beach to reserve us chairs. We spent the rest of the day at the beach before we had to head up to the room to get ready for the Tiki Sunset Cruise we had planned that night. We were a little worried about the cruise being awkward because we were on it with other groups, but it ended up making the experience more enjoyable. The other groups were ready to party, and we had dance circles, conga lines and beer pong competitions.

After a night full of fun, we all slept in the following day before getting ready to spend another day at the beach. We didn’t have any set plans that night, so we felt relaxed and like we could actually enjoy the day. We knew we wanted to head back to Broadway at the Beach to do some souvenir shopping and grab something for dinner, so we headed back with enough time to shower and get ready for a night out.

Our bride is obsessed with Bravo’s Real Housewives franchises, so the theme that night was Real Housewives. I took this outfit to the next level and decided to buy a wig to go along with my assigned housewife, Lisa Rinna from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. I surprised the bride with it and she absolutely loved it. It was worth it for the amount of stares I got from people out and about that night.

Since it was our last night, we decided to go out with a bang. We had a delicious dinner at Landry’s Seafood, then had frozen drinks at Wet Willie’s and then decided to go on a couple rides. It was the perfect last night to a perfect weekend away with friends.
