Belmond recently partnered with Dior to create a wellness experience in the gardens of Grand Hotel Timeo, A Belmond Hotel, Taormina, to celebrate the property’s 150-year anniversary. Through October, the gardens feature two Dior treehouse treatment cabins in the cypress trees offering skincare treatments while overlooking the sea.

A wooden staircase leads to two treatment cabins, one double and one single, outfitted with Toile de Jouy curtains. The iconic Dior fabric has been reimagined in a bold green leaf to blend with the surroundings. Each cabin also features a terrace with sea views, an umbrella, rattan furniture and plants.
Signature face and body treatments are on offer with the expertise of Dior skincare. The Dolce Vita Solar Glow treatment is a one-hour face and body treatment concluding with either a head-to-toe application of protective sun cream or a soothing after-sun balm. Additional treatments include Dior Prestige Haute Précision, a holistic face treatment, and Constellation, a holistic body massage.

Grand Hotel Timeo, A Belmond Hotel opened its doors in 1873 as Taormina’s first hotel, helping to put Sicily on the map for tourists. With views of Mount Etna, the hotel has attracted artists like Klimt, Klee, Wagner, Tennessee Williams and D.H. Lawrence, and Hollywood elite such as Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn. Executive Chef Roberto Toro runs its Michelin-starred restaurant.
