Well-traveled individuals who book a stay at Anda Barut Collection, in the heart of Türkiye’s Aegean region, may experience an initial twinge of dejá vu on arrival. At first glance, the 5-star, all-inclusive resort bears some resemblance to its North American counterparts designed to accommodate business groups, multigenerational families, couples and individuals.

One of its biggest selling points, however, is its Delice Peninsula location, making it an ideal base camp for the region. It presents as a much calmer alternative to Istanbul.

However, the multitasking resort, opened in May 2024, stands as a cohesive whole with a definitive Turkish identity thanks to chic modern interiors by Studio Erk and contemporary modular architecture by Altındal Mimarlık.

This is particularly true in the Adult Zone, with its kid-free private beach, pool and patio area, romantic ground-level rooms equipped with private pools, and total separation from business activities and family travelers.

Adults-only spaces elsewhere on property include an impeccably maintained fitness area and spa outfitted with a hammam, steam room, sauna, and a variety of body and facial treatments integrating Turkish and Middle Eastern products. Daily workout classes include aqua bike, Pilates and Nordic walking, and yoga sessions overlooking the Aegean Sea.

The Adult Zone’s signature restaurant, Mansion, converts from a daytime buffet to à la carte dining with shareable plates and tapas blending Mediterranean and Turkish influences. Highlights include peach and pistachio with Lor cheese (a fresh spin on tried-and-true burrata starters), octopus Caesar salad, seafood black spaghetti, stuffed onion with sea bass, and a grilled chicken main dish in an eggplant cream sauce topped with sumac. Olivae, another standout, offers an extensive selection of French-style pastries, ice cream, fancy coffees and tea selections.

Other locally inspired restaurants include Kara, serving Turkish and Anatolian slow-roasted meats and contemporary spins on traditional mezze (appetizers), and the mezze-focused Fish Camp. In addition to the always convenient global buffet (Zestful Bazaar), guests can enjoy pan-Asian dining at Tiger or Italian fare at No Se. Vegetarian, vegan, halal, kosher and gluten-free options are widely available on request across the property. Cape Beach & Lounge, which caters to families by day, turns into an adults-only restaurant by night, offering global cuisine.

Kids vacationing with their parents have their own restaurant (Pink Rabbit) adjoining the Zestful Bazaar, a safe, man-made beach area next to its own full-sized pool deck, and a fully appointed kids’ club. The most over-the-top family offering is Cutara Madventure Park, whose giant tangle of waterslides is the first thing visible from the road as one approaches the property. It features six slides for kids and seven slides for adults along with carnival-inspired games and activities.

Across the resort, rooms, suites and villas boast spectacular sea or pool area views, and are equipped with air conditioning, flat-screen TV with satellite channels, safety deposit box, minibar with complimentary snacks, coffee machine, a shower, hair dryer and curling iron, a large wardrobe stocked with free toiletries, and a beach bag guests can keep as a souvenir. Selected rooms have a balcony or private plunge pool. Retail area highlights in the Community section include In-Formal, stocked with a curated range of resort-to-city fashion from Turkish and international designers, including Melissa Odabash, Orlebar Brown, Sandro, Maje, Borsalino, Moschino, Stella McCartney and Boss. Snob Collector, which adjoins Pg Art Gallery, offers higher-end, hand-crafted jewelry, clothing and accessories from Turkish artisans.

With 547 rooms and 13 luxury villas accommodating every type of traveler, it could be argued Anda Barut Collection is a self-contained village with its year-round amenities, along with live music performances, culinary events and other limited-time attractions.
