Luxury resort operator Soneva launched wellness brand Soneva Soul to blend ancient healing practices with modern science and medicine for guests to reconnect with their mind, body and soul. The new Soneva Soul Island makes its debut at Soneva Jani in the Maldives.

Soneva Soul offers guests a personalized experience including resort spas, movement, sleep, yoga and meditation programs, as well as wellness and lifestyle products and a global network of acclaimed wellness specialists in an environment with regenerative medical services. The new wellness brand seeks to enhance guests’ wellness experience by going beyond typical resort spa treatments.

“Wellness permeates all that we do at Soneva: our sustainable, barefoot philosophy that reconnects our guests to the earth; our life-affirming natural locations; our delicious yet health-focused cuisine; and our life-changing guest experiences,” says Sonu Shivdasani, CEO and co-founder, Soneva. “Soneva Soul is the culmination of everything we have learned since we launched our spa at Soneva Fushi in 1995, the very first resort spa in the Maldives. Much like Soneva, at Soneva Soul we are pioneering an approach that combines apparent opposites to offer our guests a transformative and personalized wellbeing experience.”

Soneva Soul will have open-air treatment rooms, therapeutic biomodulation rooms, consultation suites, a top-notch gym and juice bar. Each feature uses inspiration from traditional wellness philosophies like Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda and herbalism. The spa rests above the tree line to provide guests with rare panoramic views across the lagoon.
