California native Kerry Feirman grew up following in big brother’s lead by participating in many sports including baseball, basketball, football, swimming, gymnastics and dance, although tennis became her true passion. In addition to sports, Feirman competed in beauty pageants and acted in several professional theater productions.

Feirman played Division 1 tennis at the University of California Santa Barbara. While immersing herself in the college experience took her away from tennis for a bit, Feirman remained active in the theater community. After graduating with Dean’s Honors in writing and journalism, Feirman moved to Los Angeles, where her career blossomed.

Feirman has worked on both sides of the camera. She’s been a producer, director, actor, emcee, host and more. Eventually, she was able to combine all her passions on Talk Tennis With Kerry, her current show. On Talk Tennis With Kerry, Feirman travels all over the world, covering tennis events, interviewing major stars and more.

I turned the tables on Feirman by interviewing her. She discussed her favorite travel destinations along with travel goals. Staying true to her versatility, Feirman listed exotic places as well as lesser-known domestic destinations. She also talked about her television and music favorites.

Feirman has a lot of fun and makes it fun for the viewer. I like Talk Tennis With Kerry because it isn’t hardcore tennis, nor is it fluff tennis. Feirman delivers a well-balanced blend of entertainment and information. I am not a huge tennis fan, but I have been really enjoying this show, even before interviewing Feirman.

I look forward to future episodes of Talk Tennis With Kerry and also watching her career develop. I also hope to meet her someday and possibly even engage in a friendly volley on the court.
