Yotel opened two new properties at İstanbul Airport: one landside and one airside. Both are located at the city’s new airport, which fully opened last month after several delays.
The landside Yotel İstanbul Airport offers 277 cabin-style rooms, bookable by the night. The airside property, Yotelair İstanbul Airport, sits within the Family Palace Zone after security, and features 174 rooms bookable for a minimum of four hours.
Both hotels have communal spaces, called komyuniti areas, for co-working, dining and relaxation. The landside hotel features a restaurant, bar, gym and meeting spaces. Prices start at $155 per night at Yotel İstanbul Airport, and $105 for a four-hour stay at Yotelair İstanbul Airport.
“Our arrival in the Turkish market highlights an exciting period in our global expansion plan and we are incredibly proud to be part of such a revolutionary project at İstanbul Airport,” said Hubert Viriot, CEO, Yotel. “This will be our first location to share both the Yotel and Yotelair offering, making it incredibly flexible for the modern traveller looking for the convenience of being only minutes away from check-in and departure gates.”
Yotel started in 2007, with its first property at London Gatwick Airport. The company now boasts 30 properties, either opening or in development, and plans to increase that number to 60 by 2023.
