In an age where flight delays become more of the norm, it’s almost a breath of fresh air when flights are on time. Cirium, an aviation analytics firm, just released its report on the most on-time airlines of 2025.

For the second consecutive year (and only the second airline ever to attain consecutive global wins since Cirium launched the report in 2009), Aeromexico was named most punctual airline of 2025, maintaining a 90.02 percent on-time performance. The airline operated 188,859 flights across 23 countries in 2025 alone, attaining an industry-leading schedule reliability.

Saudia and SAS were also named as some of the most on-time airlines in 2025, with 86.53 percent and 86.03 percent on-time performances, respectively.

In North America, Delta Air Lines achieved its fifth consecutive status as the most on-time airline for the continent, with an 80.90 percent punctual performance. Iberia Express was the most on-time airline in Europe, while Philippine Airlines was named the most punctual airline in the Asia-Pacific region.

In Latin America, Copa Airlines received its 11^th win, the most of any airline since Cirium’s report’s launch, with an impressive 90.75 percent on-time performance. Safair topped the regional rankings in the Middle East and Africa.

The report also recognized Qatar Airways for its excellence across its global hub network, achieving 84.42 percent on-time performance across more than 198,000 flights spanning six continents. Virgin Atlantic, meanwhile, won Cirium’s new Most Improved award, demonstrating the largest year-over-year operational performance gain among global carriers.
