Rosewood Exuma in the Bahamas just launched a world first: a luxury floating helipad at the forthcoming luxury resort. This trailblazing feature, developed by Yntegra Group, allows guests to arrive to the private island resort in the most luxurious way imaginable.

The FAA-compliant recycled floating dock system, spanning 2,184 square feet, can be towed and repositioned as needed, allowing for flexible deployment across multiple locations. The pad was constructed with handcrafted, premium ProFenders from Australia and engineered to withstand intense UV exposure, extreme weather and relentless salt spray. Perimeter solar lights are defined for night approach and departure to ensure safety. The helipad was designed to accommodate up to about 190,000 pounds, including the Sikorsky CH-53E.

The helipad also joins a suite of other signature amenities at the upcoming resort, including a floating padel court and superyacht-inspired Limousine Tender. The floating padel court was crafted from recycled steel and is engine- and battery-free.

These experiences cement Rosewood Exuma as one of the most exclusive examples of ultra-luxury hospitality.

Slated to open in late 2028, Rosewood Exuma will comprise 33 bungalows positioned across the 124-acre island, with more than half of the land preserved in its natural state. The property commits to sustainability by implementing native landscaping, solar and renewable energy, and plans for LEED certification.
