Terra Nova Expeditions recently launched a world-first hybrid cruise-sailing Antarctica expedition. This groundbreaking itinerary combines a purpose-built expedition vessel with an intimate polar yacht experience into one seamless journey.

Travelers will venture through one of the world’s most remote regions onboard both St Helena and Icebird yacht, vessels that can reach terrain rarely accessible by most travelers and operators.

The 20-day voyage aims to capture the spirit of true exploratory travel to the region, with expert-led presentations, seabird and whale watching, kayaking and snowshoeing, iceberg viewing, encounters with penguins, and more. With more than 500 potential landing sites, each itinerary is shaped by conditions, allowing the expedition team to venture beyond busier locations.
Bookings for the 2026/2027 Ultimate Antarctica Adventure are now open. Departures include Dec. 28; Jan. 6, 2027; Jan 16, 2027; and Jan. 25, 2027.
