This fall, explore one of the world’s most dashing figures during Oscar Wilde’s Dublin, London and Paris Tour. The nine-night extravaganza takes place in the company of esteemed gay historian Professor Andrew Lear of Oscar Wilde Tours. Excursions are designed specifically with gay travelers in mind, with expert local guides and special access to private spaces including Wilde’s rooms at Magdalen College, Oxford.
In addition to stunning accommodations and fabulous food, tour highlights include Art Tea at the Merrion Hotel in Dublin, a guided visit to London’s National Portrait Gallery, a day trip to Oxford, time to explore the Art Nouveau collection of designer Pierre Cardin in Paris, and a leisurely cruise along the Seine to drink in city views. Guest lecturers include Wilde scholars, academics, authors, actors and playwrights.
The trip begins in London on Oct. 25, but personalized private tours can also be arranged for other dates. Included: Ground transport, airfare from Dublin to London, Eurostar transportation from London to Paris, 5-star hotels, breakfast daily (and other meals as specified in the itinerary), hotel taxes and porterage, and all entrance fees.
