Waldorf Astoria Chicago began a renovation project with expected completion this spring. Chicago-based hospitality design and architecture team KTGY Simeone Deary Design Group led the hotel’s redesign, incorporating influences from Coco Chanel and French masters into each detail.

The renovations include Brass Tack, a new dining experience and brasserie with Midwestern-inspired dishes. Waldorf Astoria Chicago will also unveil its lobby-level Peacock Lounge, a space for guests to relax. The Peacock Lounge will include rich, dark colors with beautiful furnishings, collective books inspired by the Gold Coast and Chicago, and a black-and-white marble fireplace.

Enhancements to the guestrooms and suites feature white-and-black color schemes, new mirrors and furnishings. New floral-inspired, upholstered headboards will grace each bed and add pops of color to each room. The suites will also reveal new additions and renovations, featuring polished wood flooring and bright metals integrated throughout.

In addition to Waldorf Astoria Chicago Spa & Health Club’s additions of a new couple’s treatment room, the hotel is also happy to announce the return of Bernard’s, a spot for classic cocktails and wines.
