United Airlines moved operations to LaGuardia Airport’s Terminal B Eastern Concourse last week. The new $4 billion, 1.3-million-square-foot terminal now offers high ceilings, abundant natural light and 13 iconic New York City retail and dining outlets. Other perks include ample seating, free WiFi, a children’s play area and large restrooms.

United Airlines opened a United Club in the terminal near its gates, with 10,500 square feet and views of the tarmac. The lounge is 30 percent larger than United’s previous United Club at LaGuardia. It provides seating for more than 200 passengers, a New York-inspired dining menu, wellness rooms and free WiFi.

“United customers depend on LaGuardia for frequent service to key business cities such as Chicago and Denver and the new Terminal B represents a huge improvement in the facilities we are able to provide, including a gorgeous new United Club,” said Jill Kaplan, president, New York and New Jersey, United Airlines. “A world-class city like New York deserves a state-of-the-art airport — which is why we are absolutely thrilled to be moving our operations to the spectacular new Terminal B Eastern Concourse at LaGuardia Airport.”
