United Airlines adds almost 150 additional flights between its hubs and popular spring break destinations, including Arizona, Florida, Hawai’i, Mexico, the Caribbean and select ski destinations.
Flights will launch spring 2019, with 31 flights to leisure destinations, including 12 islands in the Caribbean; 28 additional flights to seven cities in Mexico; and 27 flights to seven destinations in Central America. There will also be 16 flights to Costa Rica, three flights to Guatemala and three flights to Belize.
“We want our customers to know that, no matter where they want to go for spring break, United Airlines can get them there,” Ankit Gupta, vice president, United Airlines, said in a statement. “This is the time of year when our customers start thinking about and planning the perfect getaway, and with our expanded spring schedule, we are offering more flights and more destinations than ever before.”
The airline also extends its new seasonal, non-stop flights between Chicago (ORD) and Brownsville/South Padre Island (BRO) through the end of the spring travel season in April.
The airline is adding seven more flights to Phoenix (PHX) and Tucson (TUS); 15 additional flights to 10 cities in Florida; eight more flights to four islands in Hawai’I; and 10 more flights to four of Colorado’s top ski destinations, including Vail (EGE), Crested Butte (GUC), Steamboat Springs (SBS) and Telluride (TEX).

DON’T EXPECT TURIN TO FIT your image of Italy. It’s Italian, all right — the evening passeggiata and a love of good food and wine are alive and well. But you’ll look in vain for medieval cobbled streets, crumbling castles and works by Michelangelo (who never set foot here). Instead, although you’ll find some Roman ruins, you’ll also find a faux medieval village, a world-class film museum and a café life that rivals Vienna’s. You and your family will have fun here.
United Airlines’ environmentally friendly efforts lessen the impact on local U.S. communities.
The city took its name from Athena, goddess of wisdom, strategy and war, and protector of the city. The financial, political and administrative center of the country and an all-powerful city-state in antiquity, Athens is a major center of culture. A visit to the first-ever museum dedicated to Byzantium, a stroll around the National Garden and a trip to the Olympeion archaeological site will take you back through time.
