Turkish Airlines announced plans to open five new passenger lounges at the new İstanbul Airport. They’ll be open to passengers traveling in business class, Miles & Smiles Elite Plus and Elite members, and Star Alliance Gold and Corporate Club passengers.
The airport already has three lounges open: the Turkish Airlines Business Lounge, Miles & Smiles Lounge and Domestic Lounge. The Executive Lounge and Arrival Lounge will be ready this summer.
The Turkish Airlines Business Lounge covers 18,287 square feet of space and can fit up to 765 guests. It includes 13 private suites with showers, and a small museum designed in collaboration with the arts and cultural institution İstanbul Modern.
Similarly, the Turkish Airlines Miles & Smiles Lounge offers seating capacity of up to 765, with 11 private suites with showers and a relaxation space that serves Turkish food. Both lounges have meeting rooms, a library and a prayer room.
Finally, the Turkish Airlines Domestic Lounge can be accessed through a special entrance gate located outside the terminal. It boasts modern amenities similar to the other lounges.
