The Ritz-Carlton, Chicago celebrates its 50th anniversary this year by launching a Golden Anniversary campaign of celebratory experiences, special programming and exciting overnight deals for guests.

Celebrate 50 years of luxury with a signature cocktail, exclusively available in the Club Lounge and Torali Bar.
Gold Coast Facial
Treat yourself to an 80-minute facial featuring a KNESKO Gold Collagen Face Mask paired with a lifting massage.
Additionally, The Ritz-Carlton, Chicago, launched the 50 Years in Style promotion, a limited-time offer to celebrate the city’s vibrant spirit and the hotel’s legacy. The offering includes a bottle of Champagne Barons de Rothschild – Ritz Reserve, a special dessert, a keepsake to take home with you, a $100 food and beverage credit, complimentary valet parking, and a 2 p.m. check-out.

Getting to and from Leopard Sands River Lodge in Kruger National Park is half the fun, as it is a short, scenic drive from tiny Skukuza Airport (possibly one of the most attractive and mellow in existence) and main entrance of Kruger National Park, which turns 100 in 2026. Having evolved into a well-oiled machine since its December 2023 opening, it presents its first “wow” moment 30 minutes before even setting foot on the property. As baggage is brought in from the plane, drivers from the lodge set out a selection of beer; soft drinks; and locally produced dried fruit, nut mixes and biltong (the South African cousin to jerky). It’s a small sample of what’s to come.
