The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch and Fumar Cigars partnered to feature the most expensive cigar in the world, His Majesty’s Reserve Gurkha, at the resort’s on-property cigar speakeasy, Bachelors Lounge. The rare cigar boasts a stately price of $2,000 per cigar.
His Majesty’s Reserve Cigars are aged tobacco leaves rolled into a fine cigar with a full shot of 40-year-old Louis XIII Remy Martin Cognac incorporated. The blend is comprised of an 18-year Connecticut Maduro wrapper with 12-year-old Dominican binder and fillers, encased in the best glass tube founder Kaizad Hansotia could find and sealed with rich green wax.

At The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch, guests can enjoy Bachelors Lounge, a Rocky Mountain speakeasy offering signature spirits and a Sommelier-crafted wine list from around the world. Additionally, the lounge offers a hookah with loose tobacco in seasonal flavors and the Vaportini, a twist on the classic martini where those imbibing consume the alcohol vapor through a straw. Seasonal programming and classes are also on tap. The lounge offers both indoor and outdoor seating and a fireplace.
The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch’s grand lodge architectural style highlights the Rocky Mountain setting, offering outdoor adventure. Among the other on-site amenities are Ritz Kids experiences, an array of dining options, The Bachelor Gulch Spa at The Ritz-Carlton and Bachelor’s Pack pet program.
Gurkha Cigars is one of the most famous brands of luxury cigars in the world, known for limited releases and rare products with artistic packaging.
