If a swanky, sophisticated and A-list cocktail bar is what you’re looking for on business in London, The Parrot is a venue worth discovering. The cocktail bar and live music venue is the creation of actor Idris Elba and business partners and twin-bothers, Lee and Nicky Caulfield, located in the Waldorf Hilton, London. After its debut in fall 2018, the public was able to enjoy the 60-space bar boasting an extensive list of hand-crafted libations on the regular and hidden menu.
In-keeping with the exclusivity of it all, there will also be a host of unannounced, secret shows for in-the-know guests. Another elevated touch, guests can enjoy a chauffeured ride via Aston Martin, available only to exclusive Waldorf guests. Guests arriving in the Aston Martin can pre-order food and drinks to be ready on their arrival.
Once you arrive, find a seat at the plush, velvet lounge area with the fun backdrop of upscale tropical décor. Historically, the building has attracted A-list stars since it opened as Palm Court in the early 1900s. Expect live performances by the incredible house band, as well as guest DJ sets, occasionally by Elba himself.
If the impressive food and drink menu isn’t enough, cap the evening off with a boozy ice cream by Cheers Luxury Alcoholic Ice Cream. Indulge in flavors like Toffee+Vodka (5.8 percent ABV); Chocolate Espresso Martini (6.9 percent ABV); Strawberry Daiquiri (7.9 percent ABV) and Mojito (8.4 percent ABV).
