The Philippines has always been a little harder to get to than other destinations in Southeast Asia, but for vacation travelers interested in checking out a bucket-list tropical island with plenty of amenities, the island of Boracay is worth the extra time to get there.

The island’s upscale property, The Lind Boracay, like every other resort on this sun-splashed island, was closed for six months in 2018 when the Philippine government shut the island down to leisure and business travelers.

The island is divided into three main “stations” along White Beach, with Station 1 for upscale hotels; Station 2 for shopping and nightlife; and Station 3 for less expensive, smaller properties.

Pristine white sands and turquoise waters welcome guests to this beachfront paradise on Boracay’s quieter end. The rooftop infinity pool offers breathtaking island views while staff bring refreshing drinks and delicious snacks. After sunset, themed dining nights showcase a variety of culinary offerings.
