Curaçao’s The Kontiki Beach Resort recently unveiled the expansion of 22 new rooms and suites. Encapsulating the same continued identity since opening, these rooms are a blend of lush greenery; open architecture; and an atmosphere inviting guests to slow down, relax and unwind.

Equipped with all you can imagine for a comfortable stay; these new rooms and suites are nature-focused in nearly every detail. Stone, wood, greenery and sand are incorporated throughout the room’s design, in addition to a spacious layout. Each accommodation is designed for guests to feel at home the moment they step in the room.

“We listened closely to what our guests expect from a stay at The Kontiki: space, calm, and quality down to the last detail,” said John Veensma, COO, The Kontiki Beach Resort Curaçao.

With wellness-oriented travel on the rise, The Kontiki understood its mission with the addition of a magnesium pool at the heart of the new wing. Rather than traditionally chlorinated water, it contains minerals associated with calming effects on the body’s skin and muscles, guaranteeing a relaxing experience.

The Tropical Deluxe rooms and suites are open for bookings now, with stays available from Dec. 7.
