After a quick train ride through the idyllic English countryside from London, I arrived to the delightful village of Woodstock on a hot summer afternoon. Following a short check-in process at the beautiful pastel townhouse, I was escorted to my expansive accommodations. The hotel features 16 individually designed guestrooms and five suites, which are some of the largest and best appointed in the Oxford and Cotswold area. I had the pleasure of enjoying one of the suites, featuring a charming mix of old and new furnishings that perfectly complement the historic feel of the property.

After an afternoon exploring, I ventured back to the hotel to visit its award-winning Restaurant, offering delicious English cuisine and locally sourced ingredients in a fine-dining atmosphere. I enjoyed a light and fresh summertime menu paired with some of the hotel’s delicious gins. The Bistro, the hotel’s other food and beverage venue, offers a more relaxed, brasserie-style atmosphere.

In addition to being a fantastic leisure destination, The Feathers is also an ideal business retreat in a relaxing setting, offering a variety of meeting and event specials for groups of six or more. Accommodations range from the 14-person boardroom to the 24-person Oak Panel room.
