Sonesta Hotels recently announced a deal for a new construction property in Giza, Egypt. The hotel, which will open under The Royal Sonesta brand in 2028, will feature 208 guestrooms and suites overlooking the pyramids.
“We couldn’t be happier to add a fourth hotel to our luxury properties in Egypt,” said Nahed Samir, vice president of Operations and Development, Sonesta Middle East. “With the addition of The Royal Sonesta Pyramids – Egypt we will now have Sonesta branded hotels in most of the major tourist areas in Egypt including Cairo, Giza, Luxor and Aswan.”
The hotel will offer views of the pyramids and Grand Egyptian Museum, as well as on-site dining outlets, an upscale gym and spa, and meeting and conference rooms. Guests of the new hotel will be able to redeem or earn points as members of the Sonesta Travel Pass loyalty program.
