Six Senses London officially opens within The Whitley, the former Whiteley’s Emporium on Bayswater’s Queensway. The debut marks the hotel brand’s first in the United Kingdom, offering 109 guestrooms and suites, many with private terraces, as well as 14 branded residences. Accommodations boast glass rain showers, towering windows, inky blues and warm woods blended with Art Deco curves, bold lines and more.

Mirroring the ebb and flow of city life, the hotel’s spa responds to the pace and intention of each guest across its massive facility, which includes London’s first hotel magnesium pool, indoor swimming pool, fitness center, yoga and mindful movement studios, 13 wellness spaces and six treatment rooms, traditional hammam, and a sensory suite. There’s even a Biohack Recovery Lounge to help guests reset for performance and recovery, as well as a Wellness Center for private consultations and functional screenings.

The Alchemy Bar, guided by the Celtic-Anglo calendar, lets guests transform locally foraged herbs into tonics and tinctures to use across treatments, restaurants and bars, and steam and hammam rituals. The hotel also partnered with HUM2N, a longevity clinic offering a wide range of wellness programs and protocols.

Whiteley’s Kitchen, Bar and Café serves vegetable-forward menus celebrating the rhythm of the seasons. A dedicated fermentation lab supports house-made ferments and preserves that add flavor, promote microbiome health and ensure sustainability. Cocktails at the bar prioritize ingredient integrity, such as signature drink Clouds Over Islay, pairing Bruichladdich whiskey with amazake and lemon hydrosol in collaboration with Alchemy Bar.
