Shangri-La Group just signed an agreement with United Bodrum Turizm A.Ş. to manage a new luxury resort in Bodrum, Türkiye, marking the brand’s second property in the country and further expanding its presence in key destinations in the Mediterranean.
Shangri-La Bodrum will be situated on the northwest end of the Bodrum peninsula in the enclave of Yalikavak, 10 minutes from Yalıkavak Marina. The property will neighbor The One Bodrum development and feature 70 guestrooms and 10 private villas, a private beach, and panoramic views of the Aegean Sea and surrounding coastal landscape.

Slated to open in the first half of 2029, Shangri-La Bodrum follows Shangri-La Bosphorus, Istanbul, opened in 2013 in the historic city.
“Bodrum’s spectacular natural setting, international appeal, and rising recognition as a global luxury hub make it an exceptional addition to our portfolio,” said Mr. Chee Wui Chua, executive director and CFO, Shangri-La Group. “We are delighted to bring Shangri-La’s timeless hospitality and contemporary sophistication to this remarkable corner of the world.”
Shangri-La is also eyeing further development in Europe and the Middle East in the coming years, bringing the brand’s signature Asian hospitality and design ethos to more destinations.
