Atlanta may remain snow free this Christmas, but The St. Regis Atlanta, in the exclusive Buckhead district, will ring in the holiday season with plenty of festivities. In the lobby, guests will be greeted by the city’s largest gingerbread house, created in collaboration with luxury candy boutique Sugarfina — a project estimated to involve a whopping 300 pounds of flour, 100 pounds of sugar, 10 pounds of spices, 70 pounds of shortening, 45 pounds of corn syrup and 16 pounds of molasses baked and assembled over the course of a 500-hour construction. Once complete, a pop-up holiday candy shop will be located within the gingerbread house where guests can browse for treats such as Santa’s sugar cookies and gingerbread men gummies.

The hotel also partners with Canadian luxury tea company TEALEAVES and the Atlanta Ballet for “Nutcracker #AfternoonTEALEAVES: Gifts of Time.”

Tea with Santa takes place Dec. 2, Dec. 7–9, and Dec. 14–24,1:45–4:30 p.m.

Children pour with Santa at their table as they enjoy Pistachio and Raspberry Financier, and Double Chocolate and Peppermint Gateaux. The tea also includes TEALEAVES Nutcracker and Organic Sugar Plum Fairy blends, along with a s’mores station. The tea is complimentary for children guests under age 3.

Outside, guests can take to the ice on the Astor Holiday Ice Rink, skating along to holiday tunes and taking breaks for hot chocolate and nibbles. Storytime with Santa, Dec. 14–24, features readings by Santa and Mrs. Claus of classic Christmas bedtime tales. On Christmas Day, the hotel will host a brunch with plenty of traditional dishes and holiday entertainment.
