The resort’s Tavernetta Vail restaurant serves up new offerings this summer. The restaurant, from James Beard award-winning Frasca Hospitality Group, recently debuted Sunday brunch. The menu boasts an Italian spin on classic brunch dishes including lemon ricotta pancakes, pizzelle waffles, polenta with eggs and sausage, and its take on chicken and waffles (pollo e waffle). Enjoy a mimosa crafted tableside from the restaurant’s Mimosa Cart. Servers hand-press orange juice to order and top with prosecco. Tavernetta Vail also introduced an après ski spin on the Italian aperitivo tradition: Après-Tivo. The menu features shareable light bites and cocktails. As a playful nod to wine windows found in Italy, guests may visit the restaurant’s Spritz Window for a cocktail.
The Remedy hosts a Highland Harvest dinner series, showcasing Colorado’s rich summer bounty with a three-course meal alongside wine pairings. The final dinner of the season takes place Aug. 27.
The bar also hosts a Mountain High Cocktail Class Aug. 28. During the immersive experience, guests learn how to make two different cocktails and food pairings. As a take-home gift, guests receive printed recipes with a supplemental cocktail kit and spirit bottle.
