Opened in December 2025, Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres is a new, adults-only, all-inclusive resort on the white-sand shoreline north of Cancún. The 5-star property occupies a beachfront setting framed by mangroves, tropical vegetation and turquoise water, with 599 rooms; expansive recreation facilities; and a broad collection of restaurants, bars and lounges. Whether your plans center on the beach, the spa or staying busy, each day can follow an entirely different agenda.
Choose your room based on how you want to spend your time. If stepping directly into the water ranks high on your list, reserve a swim-up suite and trade elevators and pool decks for a private terrace with immediate access to the water. If you’re celebrating or indulging further, upgrade to a Privilege suite with enhanced amenities, butler service and exclusive spaces around the resort that reshape your entire stay. Even standard accommodations include thoughtful touches like a daily replenished minibar, rainfall shower, hydro-massage bathtub, vertical steamer and personal outdoor space.
When booking the Privilege experience, take advantage of everything that comes with it. Spend the afternoon at the dedicated Privilege pool or reserved beach area for exclusive service and expanded snack options, stop by the rooftop lounge before dinner, and use the butler service to simplify reservations and daily plans.
Small upgrades accumulate throughout the stay, from premium minibar selections and Rituals amenities to nightly turndown service, a pillow menu and direct chat access with your butler for immediate assistance from your phone. Privilege perks follow you throughout the property, and your status is discretely indicated to staff by your wristband, so you don’t even need to ask for them.
Some mornings call for the quieter rhythm of the beach, where Costa Mujeres’ broad stretch of white sand meets unusually calm Caribbean water. Other days justify staying closer to the pools, drifting through the lazy river or testing your balance on the surf wave simulator. Multiple pools with large decks mean you typically don’t need to head out at sunrise to claim a lounger for the day. Pickleball courts, tennis, beach volleyball and aerobics keep your schedule packed if you prefer activity over an uninterrupted afternoon in the sun. Of course, there are plenty of pool games and events for more lowkey activity options. Remember to book free time slots at the bowling alley and virtual golf for some upgraded game time, too.
Spare a few hours for Despacio Spa Centre. Move through the hydrotherapy spaces before your massage, alternating between the indoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam bath. Treatments incorporate BABOR skincare products across personalized body and facial services, and the beauty salon is available for glow-ups before dinner or special events (or just because). If maintaining your workout routine matters just as much as relaxation, the 24-hour fitness center is always open.
With eight restaurants, there’s little reason to repeat the same dinner twice. Los Corales changes throughout the day with international selections and live cooking stations, while Sakura Teppanyaki adds the energy of chefs preparing each meal directly in front of you.
Reserve La Locanda when handmade pasta or wood-fired pizza sound right, head for Mexican specialties at Margarita, and indulge in French cuisine at Bluemoon. For seafood specialties, Pez Dama is right by the beach and also serves lunch. Steak House rounds out the main collection with premium cuts, while Privilege guests have additional access to an exclusive restaurant with premium offerings.
Between meals, make use of the resort’s diverse bars. Order coffee at Mike’s Coffee in the morning; cool off at one of the pool bars during the afternoon; then change the vibe with Piano Bar, Sports Bar, Sunset Lounge, Disco Bar or the rooftop reserved for Privilege guests. With 10 venues spread across the resort, your ambiance can change as easily as your mood. By the time you head home, you’ll understand why the approachable luxury of Costa Mujeres is making it one of the region’s fastest-growing resort destinations.
