Regent Seven Seas Cruises celebrated a massive milestone this month in Seven Seas Prestige’s construction journey as the ship floated out. The vessel marks the cruise line’s first new ship class in 10 years, ushering in a new legacy for ultra-luxury cruising.

The ship will debut in December 2026 as Regent’s seventh ship and the first of three in the new Prestige-class ship series. A second Prestige-class ship has been confirmed for 2030 and a third vessel was recently announced for 2033.

Seven Seas Prestige will accommodate just 822 guests, with 630 dedicated crew members, one of the highest crew-to-guest ratios in the industry. The ship is 40 percent larger than previous Regent ships yet accommodates only 10 percent more guests, delivering the cruise line’s Unrivaled Space at Sea initiative.

The largest all-inclusive, ultra-luxury ship suite in history will also debut on this ship. The Skyview Regent Suite can accommodate up to six guests across nearly 9,000 square feet, complete with a formal dining area, ocean-facing bar, living room with a bar cart and sofas, secondary full guest suite, main suite, spa-inspired main bathroom, walk-in wardrobe, and more. The bathroom also will include twin vanities, a hand-carved floating tub, sauna and walk-in shower.

Other grand accommodations to grace the ship include the two-level Skyview Suites, Grand Loft Suites and Horizon Penthouse Suites. Amenities throughout the ship focus on fine dining and drinks, such as Starlight Atrium and Galileo’s Bar, as well as Azure restaurant.

On its inaugural season, the new vessel will venture on 13 voyages across Europe and the Caribbean, including two trans-Atlantic crossings. Carefully curated itineraries will range from 10 to 15 nights, showcasing exceptional destinations and experiences, from Regent’s private island paradise of Harvest Caye in Belize to two transits of the Panama Canal. Other experiences include overnight stays in cities like London, Lisbon and Bordeaux.

Let's talk geology.
