Raffles Hotels & Resorts is headed to the mountains! The luxury hotel brand announced plans for its first-ever alpine resort in the French Alps. The property will be located in Courchevel 1850, the most iconic address in the French Alps, offering a refined, intimate, slope-side retreat slated to open in 2028.

Courchevel 1850 is a global icon of alpine glamour, known for its Michelin-starred dining, luxury mansions and exclusive boutiques. Raffles Courchevel will sit within Les Trois Valleies, the world’s largest interconnected ski area.

Raffles Courchevel sits in a prime location and offers spectacular panoramic views of the Tarentaise Valley. Guests can expect exclusive alpine settings, luxury guestrooms, iconic Raffles amenities and more.

The resort will feature 50 guestrooms and suites, offering an intimate stay and access to Raffles’ legacy of personalized service. Each room will be carefully designed, and many will have furnished private balconies. The heart of the resort is its dining spaces, inviting guests to try delicious cuisine against a stunning backdrop. Dining venues include a signature bar, elegant tea lounge, and two destination restaurants with winter gardens and terraces.

After a day on the slopes, guests can relax and reset in the spa and recovery zones. The area combines traditional alpine wellness with precision therapies rooted in longevity science. It will feature a variety of treatment rooms, thermal experiences, a fitness center and a panoramic swimming pool.
