Qatar Airways continues its route development in the United States with plans to launch three new destinations from its hub at Doha (DOH) to Los Angeles (LAX), Boston (BOS) and Atlanta (ATL). With the addition of these cities, the Gulf carrier will offer non-stop flights to all 10 of the largest metropolitan areas of the United States.

From Jan. 1, 2016, Qatar will operate daily flights to Los Angeles with the carrier’s flagship Boeing 777 aircraft, featuring a two-class cabin with 42 fully lie-flat seats arranged in a 2-2-2 configuration in business class.

Service to Boston will launch March 16, 2016, and operate daily with Qatar’s latest flagship Airbus A350 XWB, equipped with 36 seats in business class in a 1-2-1 configuration with 80-inch fully flat beds and 17-inch HD in-flight entertainment screens.

Atlanta will become Qatar’s third new route to the United States on July 1, 2016, with the airline’s flagship Boeing 777 offering service daily.

To cater to passenger demand for its existing New York (JFK) route, Qatar will add a second daily service to the city from March 1, 2016. The new flight will operate with Airbus A350 XWB aircraft, while the existing flight will continue to operate with Boeing 777 aircraft.
