Tucked away in the world’s largest uninterrupted sand desert, Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara offers a curated selection of wellness experiences, just 2.5 hours from Abu Dhabi and 3.5 from Dubai.
The resort’s Anantara Spa is a serene space where Arabian rituals meet Thai wellness traditions. From Moroccan hammam rituals to desert-inspired massages and facials by French brand Biologique Recherche (exclusive to the resort), the spa offers wellness for everyone.
Check out these five wellness experiences to enjoy at the resort:
Desert Ice Bath Experience
This guided cold immersion therapy takes place in the resort’s Wellness Center. It supports muscle recovery, stimulates circulation, calms the nervous system and revitalizes the skin.
Biologique Recherche Face Treatments: Soin Oxygénant VIP O2 Facial
This results-driven facial uses Biologique Recherche’s favorite formulations for deep hydration and a radiant glow. Customized to each guest, it leaves skin lifted, smoothed and revitalized.
Arabian Desert Rose Ritual
The four-hour ritual includes a desert sand body scrub, a purifying rhassoul clay mask and a milky rose bath, a full-body massage, and a Biologique Recherche facial.
Rub’ al Khali Healing Sand Bath
Inspired by Bedouins, this experience uses the natural heat and minerals of the Rub’ al Khali sands to soothe muscular and joint discomfort. A cooling mask completes the treatment.
Qasr Al Sarab Royal Hammam
The Royal Hammam private experience begins with a detoxifying steam followed by a traditional exfoliation to renew the skin’s texture. Mineral-rich clay is then applied before a back massage.
Travelers can book the Dune Oasis Escape, starting from $300 and including accommodations in a room or suite with daily breakfast, an upgrade to the next room category, a $55 spa credit for a room or suite stay or a $55 credit for a one-bedroom villa, and early check-in and late check-out. A complimentary 90-minute spa treatment comes with a villa booking. Guests in two- and three-bedroom villas also benefit from 50 percent off a second treatment.
