PONANT EXPLORATIONS and Smithsonian Journeys recently announced expanded 2027 offerings, including an all-new Solar Eclipse itinerary.
Departing roundtrip from Lisbon on July 30, 2027, A Solar Eclipse at Sea: Voyage Along the Iberian Peninsula will offers guests the chance to witness the solar eclipse over the Mediterranean Sea while in Málaga, Spain. Two Smithsonian Journeys experts will be onboard Le Boréal and stops include Portugal’s Portimão and Figueira da Foz, and Spain’s Marbella and Cadiz.

Departing May 1, 2027, from Busan, South Korea, to Osaka, Japan, this visits Hiroshima Peace Memorial, Itsukushima Shinto Shrine, Bulguksa Temple, Japan’s world-renowned hot springs and more.
