Pollini at London’s Ladbroke Hall Brings Elevated Italian Cuisine to Venue

Pollini at Ladbroke Hall dining venue shares this West London cultural hub with live music, contemporary art, dance and gastronomy. The Hall was founded by Loïc Le Gaillard and Julien Lombrail, the visionary duo behind Carpenters Workshop Gallery, the global contemporary art gallery piece of the venue.

Spanning 43,000 square feet, the reimagined Edwardian landmark has become a beacon for London’s renewed creative energy in Notting Hill, with dynamic programming welcoming both the local community and international art patrons.

At the heart of Ladbroke Hall is Chef Emanuele Pollini, a star at one of London’s most compelling new destinations for Italian cuisine. Led by Chef Pollini, named Best Italian Chef by the all Italian culinary Gambero Rosso in 2020, the restaurant is styled after an elevated osteria (an Italian restaurant that serves wine and simple food, often local specialties) through a contemporary lens. Drawing inspiration from the Emilia-Romagna region, Chef Pollini’s seasonal menu celebrates purity of flavor, artistry of presentation and the joy of convivial dining.

“It is altogether a new chapter at Pollini,” said Chef Pollini. “Our promise of seasonal ingredients and traditional inspiration continues of course, but with a refreshed palette and lighter twist, like that of the high-class osteria. We have re-envisioned our menu to match the enlivened interior, and to complement the art programming surrounding us at Ladbroke Hall.”

Now launching our winter menu, we are featuring aged squash and ginger, black truffle and fresh aubergine as our warm natural flavors. Our seasonal specials feature heartier dishes like our langoustine pasta and polletto alla cacciatora.”

Set within the striking former showroom of the Clemence-Talbot automobile factory built in 1903, Pollini’s restaurant design is the work ofMilano-based Vincenzo De Cotiis Architects, renowned for sculptural use of materials between modern and historic form. Black-and-white interiors create a bold, timeless dialogue with the Beaux-Arts architecture, enhanced by site-specific works by several former artists of Ladbroke Hall, Christopher Le Brun PPRA and Nacho Carbonell. Many London artists, designers and culinary mavens feel Ladbroke Hall represents the intersection of art, design and gastronomy at their most inspiring.

“Since opening Pollini and Ladbroke Hall two years ago, the journey has been nothing short of transformational,” sai Le Gaillard. “We have built a home where gastronomy, art, and culture live in dialogue.”

Bringing together culinary and artistic excellence within Ladbroke Hall, a space that embodies London’s evolving cultural landscape, is a real treat for residents and international visitors. Located on Barlby Road in the Notting Hill neighborhood, Ladbroke Hall has many wonderful spots to wander about nearby, including Portobello Road Market; Museum of Brands; and Wormwood Scrubs, aka The Scrubs, one of the largest green spaces in London.

Sail Away

Please enjoy the Wave Issue, our cruising special for the first half of 2026. Cruising is booming, and travelers cannot get enough of it. I just returned from a fantastic trip on Regent Seven Seas Mariner with a group of Globility Board members and other Global Traveler subscribers. We departed from İstanbul and made our way through the Dardanelles Strait, connecting the Sea of Marmara to the Aegean. From there we entered the Mediterranean. The ship made interesting stops in Greece, Montenegro and Croatia before docking in Trieste. Please read my GT Tested review of Seven Seas Mariner in this issue.
