Hotels

The city’s first W Hotel is making its way into town, considered one of the most anticipated hotel openings the area has seen in years. Home to 210 luxury guestrooms, a signature rooftop deck, skyline views, and restaurant and bar, guests can experience a new era of luxury downtown.

More hotel development is set in place for AC Hotel by Marriott (to debut in spring 2027) and the new Marriott Tribute Portfolio Hotel, opening shortly after in the fall.

Michelin Guide

Cleveland is included in the inaugural Great Lakes edition of the Michelin Guide and will receive its first stars, recognitions and selections, announced in 2027. Any guesses which restaurants will be awarded?

Waterfront Turned to Community Space

With nearly $5 billion in public and private investment, Cleveland’s waterfront can expect new hiking trails, parks, entertainment venues and public access points to be added over the next few years. Some additions coming to the area include The Cleveland Clinic Global Peak Performance Center, a 210,000-square-foot practice and sports science facility; and Towpath Trail through Irishtown Bend Park, a 101-mile biking trail connecting downtown, a national park and Lake Erie.

Get an Insider’s Look at Napa Valley’s Busiest Season

If you haven’t been to wine country during harvest season, have you really been to wine country? Vineyards buzz with workers plucking sun-ripened clusters while the winery hums with sorting tables and presses gently extracting precious juice and tannins. In the cellar, the air is perfumed with an intoxicating cuvée of baking bread and grapes as vats alive with bubbling juice are tended to by the winemaker’s watchful eyes. For wine lovers, the experience is nothing short of magical. It also offers a newfound appreciation to the hard work behind every bottle in a way that simply bellying up to a tasting bar never could. Napa Valley has perfected the art of the harvest celebration with festivals, dinners, tastings, hands-on experiences and, of course, the opportunity to literally feel grapes between your toes.
