April marks the celebration of National Pickleball Month. Throughout the month, USA Pickleball highlights more than 230 events throughout the country, from beginner clinics to community tournaments.

In partnership with Peak Pickleball, USA Pickleball hosts the 2026 USA Pickleball Wheelchair National Championships in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This inaugural event hosts players from around the world June 19–21. The 2026 USA Pickleball National Championships return to San Diego, California, Oct. 31–Nov. 8. Qualification is now open, with a tournament this month in San Diego.

“National Pickleball Month is a celebration of what makes this sport so special. It brings people together,” said Mike Nealy, CEO, USA Pickleball. “Whether you’re picking up a paddle for the first time or competing at a high level, pickleball offers a place for everyone. We’re seeing incredible momentum across the country, and National Pickleball Month puts that energy on full display. It’s not just about playing. It’s about building community.”

USA Pickleball Serves, the organization’s charity, offers two grant opportunities. Grow the Game grant program provides equipment to school and local organizations. Play it Forward grant program supports court installation and facility improvements. The current grant application cycle closes on April 27.
