Located in the heart of Nantucket, a tiny island off the coast of Massachusetts, sits The Martin by Greydon House, a 15-room property set within a newly reimagined historic inn. Built in 1803 for Nathaniel Sherman and his wife, Hepsabeth, the home was eventually turned into a guesthouse in the 1920s and has provided guests with excellent service ever since.

Stephanie Hall, lead designer and partner, Nantucket Looms, was inspired by Nantucket’s natural beauty and rich history, and it shows through its sophisticated, coastal design. A beautiful color palette reflects tones found in the island’s sky, sea and moors. The different hues of blue, green and grey provide a cozy-meets-contemporary feel across the entire property.

All rooms and suites were designed to give travelers a sense of place with nautical design elements, pillows featuring Seigaiha-inspired wave patterns, brass-and-rope mirrors and white linen lampshades. For over-the-top accommodations, book the Studio King Suite, Junior King Suite or the Deluxe King room, all sporting a private balcony.

With a prime location on Centre Street, The Martin is just a short walk from the island’s favorite shops, beaches, restaurants and landmarks. It’s also a five-minute walk from Hyannis, Oak Bluffs and New Bedford ferry docks, and a 10-minute ride from Nantucket Memorial Airport.
