Fisher Island Club in Miami recently completed renovations, giving it one of the only tennis centers worldwide to offer tennis courts with all four Grand Slam playing surfaces. Previously, the resort’s tennis center played host to many visiting tennis professionals for pre-tournament practices.

Among the 18 tennis courts offered, guests will now find two new red clay courts comparable to those used at the French Open. The surface plays 20 percent slower and produces a higher bounce. The soft clay also provides a forgiving playing surface.

The red clay courts joins two DecoTurf cushion courts, similar to that used at the U.S. Open and Australian Open; two championship grass courts like those used at Wimbledon; and 12 Har-Tru green clay courts, the most common type of clay tennis court.
