It’s official: V Villas Maldives at Mirihi –MGallery Collection is open, welcoming guests to a private island experience rich in Maldivian heritage. The all-villa property is set upon Mirihi island within the South Ari Atoll, where the setting includes sparkling azure lagoons and sugary white-sand beaches. Accessed by a 30-minute seaplane crossing from Malé, guests arrive to discover a world of luxury comprised of 42 expansive villas, including four new opulent overwater villas, each with an ample private pool and direct lagoon access. Villas were crafted by the renowned experts at multidisciplinary design firm Studio Gronda, who fashioned each to fit harmoniously into the surrounding tropical landscape.

Dining celebrates Maldivian traditions, with all-day options at Dhonvelli. Enjoy your meal with sea breezes on the open-air terraces, and select from menu choices including local ingredients and fresh fare straight from the sea. At Muraka, the signature dish is a freshly caught Maldivian lobster flambéed tableside while guests enjoy ocean views from the overwater dining space. Cocktails and sunsets are easily combined at Akoya Sea Lounge, where Mirihi’s very own Muraka rum is showcased in the Maldivian Glow, also made with coconut liqueur and sun-dried pineapple.
Treatments and therapies inspired by the island’s abundant botanicals are offered at Mirihi Spa. Sample an ocean mineral salt scrub or an infrared sea bath ritual. The menu also features sound healing ceremonies, guided meditation and aerial yoga.
