This month, Marriott International, Inc., signed an agreement with leading developer and operator in high-end tourism and real estate TEMES S.A. to debut the W Hotels Worldwide brand in Greece with the unveiling of W Costa Navarino. W Costa Navarino will be the latest addition to the W Escapes portfolio across Europe in countries like Spain, Portugal and Switzerland.

We look forward to welcoming free-spirited travelers to this new luxury playground.”

Slated to sit on the Navarino Waterfront overlooking the Mediterranean, W Costa Navarino will include 13 hectares of beachfront property in Messinia, southwest Peloponnese. The renowned Tombazis and Associates Architects will design the 246-room property, incorporating the region’s traditional residential spots as part of the hotel’s layout and structure. Natural materials like stood, reed and wood will also feature in the hotel and in each room, suite and villa. Many villas will include private pools staged in the Bay of Navarino with gorgeous views of the Ionian Sea.

Dining venues like a destination beach club will appear at W Costa Navarino. Designed by Athens-based K-Studio, this eatery will offer guests stunning views of the coast. The hotel will also be home to Culinary Square, a unique take on a deli food market with individual outlets to create an energetic and socially driven spot for all-day dining.

W Costa Navarino will also boast a sunset bar and a signature W Living Room. The property’s close proximity to other neighborhoods in Costa Navarino means guests can also choose from other dining venues in the area. The Navarino Agora, a new addition to the region, features an open marketplace with street food, retail, open-air cinema and other fun programming throughout the day and night.

The hotel seeks to provide guests with a memorable experience centered around not only good company but also the environment and activities available in the region. W Costa Navarino will come with tennis courts and a water sports hub, as well as access to the destination’s four signature golf courses. Guests can also enjoy the region’s natural beauty by biking, hiking, rock-climbing and sailing.

The addition of W Costa Navarino will mark the third Marriott International property in Costa Navarino, alongside The Westin Resort Costa Navarino and The Romanos, a Luxury Collection Resort.
