This spring, Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca, debuts, bringing a design-forward retreat to the coastline near Puerto Portals. With direct access to two secluded coves, panoramic views, and a strong commitment to Mallorcan arts and heritage, this resort sets a new standard of luxury hospitality in the region.
The property will boast 131 rooms and suites with uninterrupted Mediterranean views, including private pool suites and intimate casitas. Dining venues Matsuhisa by Nobu Matsuhisa and Leña by Dani García will also debut at the resort, as well as additional Mediterranean and globally inspired concepts. Art is woven into the design of accommodations and public spaces, with works by acclaimed local and international artists, as well as outdoor installations transforming gardens and terraces into open-air galleries.
A signature Mandarin Oriental Spa blending Oriental wellness philosophies with local Mallorcan rituals will be available to guests, and curated experiences to immerse in and explore the region will allow travelers to best experience Mallorca.
