Mandarin Oriental, Boston and Mandarin Oriental, New York recently introduced the Harbour to Harbour experience, a curated, two-city journey showcasing the distinct character of two of America’s most celebrated destinations. Through Oct. 15, the offer combines accommodations at either hotel with an exclusive 10 percent savings on private charter travel through Tradewind Aviation.

“Harbour to Harbour reflects our commitment to creating distinctive experiences that extend beyond our hotels,” said Marcel Thoma, general manager, Mandarin Oriental, New York, and area vice president, Operations. “Together with Tradewind Aviation, we’ve created a seamless way for guests to discover the unique character of both Boston and New York in a single journey.”

The experience highlights local experiences and recommendations curated by each property. A key aspect of the partnership is Mandarin Oriental’s partnership with Tradewind Aviation, offering guests exclusive savings on private charter flights between Boston and New York. Recommended airports include Laurence G. Hanscom Field in Bedford, Massachusetts, and the Million Air private terminal at Westchester County Airport. Prior, guests enjoy dedicated private terminals, expedited boarding and personalized service while avoiding commercial travel to allow more time to experience each destination.

Located in Boston’s Back Bay, Mandarin Oriental, Boston provides convenient access to city experiences like the Freedom Trail and Boston Harbor. The residential-style accommodations are complemented by intuitive service, wellness offerings and dining at Ramsay’s Kitchen.

Overlooking Central Park from Columbus Circle, Mandarin Oriental, New York pairs breathtaking views with wellness and dining experiences.

Why Japan Is Best Explored by Sea with Princess

Japan is a destination that rewards repeat visits because no two regions — or seasons —  feel quite the same. One moment, you’re wandering through centuries-old geisha districts in Kanazawa. The next, you’re watching neon reflections dance across Tokyo streets long after midnight.

Review: Prestige Oceanfront Resort

Vancouver Island gets progressively wilder as you leave Victoria behind and follow the coastline west. By the time you reach Sooke, about 45 minutes from the provincial capital, city blocks have surrendered to forests, rocky shoreline, sheltered coves and long views across the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Prestige Oceanfront Resort rises directly above Sooke Harbour, where boats move across the basin, and the Olympic Mountains form the horizon beyond the strait.

Review: Sushi by Scratch at Grand Hyatt Deer Valley

Husband-and-wife team Phillip Frankland Lee and Margarita Kallas-Lee made their mark by reinventing the term “hidden gem” through their surprising and intentional collection of destination restaurants. While they launched the original Scratch Kitchen in 2013, an expired lease prompted them to relocate to an unassuming strip mall in suburban Encino in 2015 and rename it Scratch Bar & Kitchen. Even at a time when the San Fernando Valley was not known for innovative 5-star dining, the Lees’ concepts gathered such a strong buzz that discerning diners cheerfully followed them “over the hill.”
