LATAM Airlines released a preview of its new cabin designs and interiors. The $400 million transformation of more than 200 aircraft is set to finish in 2021, with new cabins debuting this year on aircraft serving Peru and Brazil.
As part of the new interiors, LATAM rolls out its new premium-business experience to its long-haul fleet, including Boeing 767, 777, 787-9 and Airbus A350-1000 aircraft. Premium Business cabins feature custom-designed seats with more privacy and aisle access that recline 180 degrees for a fully flat bed. Seats also include the latest in-flight entertainment experience with 18-inch personal screens and ample space for personal storage. The Premium Business experience is enhanced with a new dining concept, service protocols and premium bedding.
“Our new cabins will enable us to offer an industry-leading onboard experience with more options, flexibility and personalization to better serve each and every passenger,” said Claudia Sender, vice president, customers, LATAM Airlines Group. “Our premium-business cabin will provide unrivaled comfort, privacy and a new service concept to enable passengers to arrive at their destinations well-rested and ready to continue their journey. At the same time, our new economy cabin will offer passengers greater comfort as well as more options to upgrade services and tailor their travel experience.”
