Eighteenth-century palaces provided the architectural inspiration for the newly opened Emerald Palace Kempinski Dubai, located on the west crescent of Palm Jumeirah on the Arabian Gulf. Guests can enjoy the sparkle of 6,400 chandeliers, which illuminate the hand-painted, 24-carat gold leaf elements in the Neoclassical structure’s motifs and classical friezes. Other design details include five Palladian domes and eight Rosa Portogallo Portuguese marble columns arrayed within the grand atrium, which boasts a chandelier constructed with 40,000 Swarovski crystals.

Each guestroom features a private lounge area, marble bathroom and a wide balcony with views of the landscaped gardens, the Arabian Gulf or the Palm Lagoon. Available amenities include 24-hour butler services and exceptional spaces include Presidential, Royal and Mezzanine Suites. Each of the 10 individual, stand-alone villas are situated near the gardens and shore and are equipped with a rooftop pool, Jacuzzi, spa room and private butler service.

For dining, guests can choose from miX by Alain Ducasse, all-day dining at Le Jardin, Matagi Pan-Asian steakhouse, All’onda Italian restaurant and Villamoré Mediterranean restaurant. By the pool, there’s Sablanc beach bar, while Skorpeus nightclub and lounge is the place to go for live music. Business facilities and meeting planning services are also available for small or large functions.
