Istanbul Airport added 25 sleeping cabins for passengers to nap between flights. The IGA Sleepod rents out cabins for €6 ($6.50) an hour between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., and for €9 ($9.70) an hour between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m.

The pods have disposable sheets and one pillow included in the price, but users can buy extra pillows and blankets.

The cabins have a USB port and socket for charging devices and a storage area for luggage.

The airport, opened April 2019, has an annual capacity of 90 million. The plan is to gradually increase capacity to 200 million.

The airport currently has only one terminal open, but it is one of the world’s largest, with four international piers and one domestic, totaling more than 1.4 million square meters (15 million square feet).

Short-stay hotel brand Yotel operates two hotels at the airport as well.

Mindfulness City in Kingdom of Bhutan Unveiled as Future Economic Hub

In front of an audience of 30,000 Kingdom of Bhutan residents and officials, His Majesty King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck presented his vision for a new economic hub in Bhutan. Located between India to the south and China to the north, Bhutan is one of the most beautiful destinations in the world. Bhutan came late to global tourism. It opened its borders to international visitors in 1974 and, while tourism definitely increased, residents are enduring “light” rush-hour traffic in Thimphu, its capital city, as the only Asian capital without traffic lights.
