InterContinental Hotels Group just announced it acquired the Six Senses portfolio.
Six Senses, a property known for its focus on wellness and sustainability while giving guests some of the most breathtaking scenery in the world to take in, is present in 12 countries, including Thailand, Vietnam and Singapore.
Six Senses joins Regent Hotels and Resorts, Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants and InterContinental Hotels and Resorts. Six Senses is expected to expand to 60 properties in the next 10 years.
IHG now controls 15 of the world’s leading hotel brands and more than 5,500 individual hotels.
