Hyatt Regency Austin recently completed its full-scale transformation of its 448 guestrooms and suites, corridors, meeting facilities, and public spaces. The property also introduced two additional guestrooms and three new dining concepts.

The project started in early April 2025. Ealain Studios provided interior design services.

Featuring a unique visual display blending Austin’s natural setting and vibrant cityscape, the lobby boasts new reception pods and lounge seating to encourage socialization and relaxation.

Each redesigned guestroom and suite features new natural-tone carpeting, hand-stitched accent pillows, art pieces crafted with the essence of Austin’s natural and creative spirit, a new luggage bench, built-in desk areas, and bathrooms with expanded vanities with quartz countertops.

One of the new guestrooms is the Lake View Residence suite, with views of Lady Bird Lake and the Austin skyline, as well as a spacious bedroom, a full bathroom with a soaking tub and a separate shower, and two private balconies. In the living area, guests find a convertible sofa, and the kitchenette includes bar seating for three.

Ripple & Roots, a new restaurant adjacent to reception, serves lunch, happy hour and dinner with a menu of reimagined Tex-Mex cuisine using authentic, local and sustainable ingredients from community purveyors, led by Chef de Cuisine Perla Alvarado in partnership with Executive Chef Kevin Patton. Cypress Grove is a spacious restaurant and lounge highlighting local flavors with a breakfast buffet and weekend brunch. New Juniper Breeze Market features meals, snacks and beverages.

The variety of meeting spaces solidifies Hyatt Regency Austin as a premier destination for event planners. Renovated venues include Zilker, Texas and Foothills ballrooms. The spaces boast modern amenities and support services from the hotel’s dedicated team.
