Hilton recently signed a new Curio Collection resort within the Dominican Republic, further growing its Caribbean presence. New Almare Beach Resort Las Terrenas, Curio by Hilton, sits in the Samaná Peninsula and will feature 252 elegant accommodations.

The name draws inspiration from the Italian phrase “al mare,” meaning “toward the sea.” The hotel will comprise 90 guestrooms and 162 residential units, with residence owners having the option to include their units in the hotel inventory at their discretion. Select ground-floor units will boast private plunge pools for an elevated experience.

Exceptional amenities will include a vibrant beach club with private cabanas, four outdoor swimming pools (including both adult- and family-friendly options), two padel courts, gardens and green spaces, full-service spa and state-of-the-art fitness center. Dining options encompass a signature beach club restaurant, all-day dining venue and poolside bar.

The resort plans to welcome guests in 2028.
